NewSchools was founded in 1999 to provide project management services to the Penweddig Welsh Pathfinder School in Aberystwyth, the first NewSchools PFI project.
Since then we have grown substantially and now manage a number of PFI contracts in education and other sectors in the UK.
We provide general management, project management and financial management services to the PFI projects under services contracts, whilst also providing expertise to the BSF sector for both the private and public sectors.
NewSchools key personnel are recruited from a wide range of backgrounds, many with a strong education bias, others with experience in Public/Private Partnerships, delivery of FM services and ICT.
NewSchools is owned jointly by Innisfree, M&G and its NewSchools management. The powerful mix of education and commercial experience and access to funding, ideally positions NewSchools to be a key BSF consortium member.
We operate out of our regional offices - the North, South East and South West. Our Development Team is based in our London office and work across the UK. Our Head Office is based in Sevenoaks, Kent, with our Finance and Commercial Team.
